It has been a nice two years with your products Research in Motion, but I have to say is you guys have failed in the consumer market. The browser is not up to current standards, there is no space to install applications worth owning. OS6 was a promising operating system with a better browser, but there was no space to add any new programs after installing it, and not enough ram to open up pages when using the nice new OS6 browser. So I went back to OS5 and its own limitations.

Android and iphone have cleaned RIM’s clock big time. It was nice knowing the Blackberry. Too bad the 9900 was not out 6 months ago.

I do like my Blackberry, but there is barely enough space to do anything with my Blackberry 9700 Bold.

Including the operating system there is only half the space that is included to use for your emails and any applications you want to utilize.

Right now I have 56 meg remaining and I have to be choosey in what I would want to install. I bet if Blackberry OS 6 came out for the 9700 the phone would be barely usable.

I bet if the Blackberry to have a future with the consumer it would need to have 1GB of ram for applications and the operating system at least.

If you want applications to be developed in future Blackberry devices RIM needs to have new devices with more spacious RAM.

I wish we could rent mobile phones so we could try them out so we could make an informed choice.

My 22 months for a subsidized update will start again November 2011. Being stuck with the 9700 will be torture.

Maybe RIM will end up becoming irrelevant like NOKIA in the United States.

I decided to upgrade my phone from a Curve 8900 to a Bold 9700. The only benefits for me was 3G data, Visual Voicemail and an optical trackpad.

185 dollars was blown, but I feel I will have more peace of mind. I was frustrated with my blown trackball and I wanted something better after finding out my refurbished 8900 was going to be delayed.

This phone is going to have to last me for 18 months at least. I can not afford to change smart phones like clothes. If the iphone is released on t-mobile I might never end my contract and remain married to T-Mobile. So I stay in the Crackberry Nation for good times and bad.
