There Ought to be a Law

Recently my mobile phone provider is going to charge $1.50 per month on each account just for the privilege of receiving a paper bill. Not all senior citizens are technologically adept in using computers or should be expected to participate in paperless billing. I understand companies are trying to cut costs or increase their profits. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation only 31% of those who are 65 and older have gone online and this policy that T-Mobile has introduced is discriminatory for their older customers.

I would like to suggest a law in California where businesses would be required to provide free paper billing to customers 65 and over. So if a bank or satellite television company decides to go the same route, they would be prevented from doing this to their older customers.
